Welcome to Third Wheel Trailers Inc.

As maneuverable as you are, the rider, that is what this trailer will be for you. Its aerodynamic design and light weight but ridged construction, allows you to ride with freedom, carefree, in and out of turns how ever you feel comfortable.
In all our travels, when we go places we always have stuff to bring with us. Some folks need a small bag and are set for a week or two, but others wish to have some of the comfort and amenities that we have at home. This is where some luggage carrying comes in to place, as this Trailer.

Features

This Trailer features a suspension system like no other on the market period. Urethane strands are part of this assembled torsion system and make it very soft and forgiving. It also allows you to change the grade of rubber should you wish to have a harder suspension, or softer for what ever reason. Then to top it off, a fully active shock absorber gives this Trailer the smoothest, softest and stable suspension ever.
Another great feature is the fact that its cargo rests 6 inches off the ground. This keeps the center of gravity as low as possible and not as high as some top boxes, tailpack trunks or even sidebag can be. With a low center of gravity that's no higher with the Trailer then without, this allows you to ride the way you want, even when you ride some very curvy road.

Each Trailer Lid also features 2 gas shocks that hold the upper body up as you load your trailer. Due to the Clam Shell design and big opening, it also has some small rings welded to the inner body frame along each side that allow you to hook a cargo net into and tuck it all in as you get ready to ride. The inner body frame is made of steel which is glued to the outer shell and give it a great deal of strength without having to add a lot of weight.

The CP 550 Base Model

The CP 550 base model is featured in a black or white gel coat finish body, and the brushed aluminum mill finished Frame. The front hinge/handle is in stainless steel and the License Plate Bracket is in the brushed aluminum as well.
All Trailers are fully carpeted inside, fully wired with LED tail, brake and clearance lights, and 2.5 inch incandescent signal lights. The Motorcycle section of the wiring harness (pigtail) is also along with the Trailer.

With the Trailer comes the Cruiser version Latch, which will replace the ball if you were to have a hitch with a ball on your Motorcycle already.

The CP 650 Base Model

Welcome to Third Wheel Trailers Inc.

The CP 650 is the bigger brother of the CP 550. Sitting on the same rigged platform as the 550, low to the ground and giving the Rider great handling.
With a 4 inch higher bottom half of the body, the center of gravity is a bit higher as this trailer gives you a whole cubic foot more of space, to accommodate all your traveling cargo needs.
Since the center of gravity has slightly changed, this trailer is not recommended for the smaller Motorcycles.
Base Trailer features and options remain the same on this trailer, such as being fully carpeted inside, all lights, signals, tail, clearance, license plate and brake light, wiring and so on.

Cruiser Version of Latching System


hook it up quick.

This Latching system is for most Cruisers and Touring Bikes. This system will require a rear mounted hitch, to which the Latching system then attaches to, and the Trailer mounts as you can see in the above video. It is simple, effective and quick.


The Sport Version of Latching System

This Latching system is for most Sport Bikes, and it is exclussive to Third Wheel Trailers. This System is simple to install, easy to attach and very effective also. The best feature about this System, is that when you remove the Trailer from the Motorcycle, there is virtually no visible Hitch or attachment anywhere, making it clean and very easy to use.
